An artist wants to be seen. A jury wants proof. A solo performance that turns the repeated experience of rejection into comedy, movement and a confrontation with the machinery of artistic success.

The supplied concept note places the artist in an imagined grant interview, returning over three years with new proposals and growing desperation. The work moves between performed scenes and the interview itself, asking how credibility is assigned—and what happens when being seen still does not mean being understood.
